Bill Smith was a professional saddle bronc rider
from 1961-1979 and then when on to produce the North Platte
Nitely Rodeo between the years of 1980-1989. His wife, Carole
was an elementary school teacher from 1966 to 1972 and in the
years of 1974 to 1995 when she retired. She also was a
professional barrel racer in 1972 and 1973.
Reid O'Rourke is Carole's nephew and has been
working at the ranch and riding the sale geldings for the past
10 years.

Rick Smith was a professional saddle bronc rider
in the decade of the 1980's. He currently is coaching the
Central Wyoming College Rodeo Team in Riverton, Wyoming.
His wife, Lynn assists with the coaching of the women's rodeo
team. She also instructs
goat tying clinics nationally throughout the year. They have a
three year old son, Will James and Rick's daughter Jennifer is a
student at the University of Wyoming.

Todd Fike is the nephew of Bill and Rick.
He and his wife, Lori and their girls, Addie, Lilian and Claria
Mae live in Ft. Collins, Colorado.

Jack Wipplinger has been coaching high school
football and basketball for 18 years. His wife, Becky is an
elementary school teacher, educating grades 4th and 5th for 18
years. They have three children, Skyler is a biology major and
football player at Rocky Mountain College. Lat is at Carrol College in Helena, Montana and is on a
football and academic scholarship. Elsie Cour d'Alene (Lene)
attends Roosevelt Middle School in Red Lodge, Montana.

H.B. "Woody" Bartlett joined the sale in 2003.
He has a cutting horse operation in Weatherford, Texas, a
working cattle ranch in Chugwater, Wyoming and a horse ranch in
Pikes Road, Alabama. Woody offers home raised geldings, two year
olds, yearlings and weaner colts and fillies each year in the
WYO Quarter Horse Sales. On the Wyoming Ranch, Lisa Hancock is
the head of the horse operation for the Bartlett Ranch. She has
worked for Woody for the past 8 years. Her husband, Shawn also
works for the ranch. They have two boys, Hayden and Clay.
