Please
press this link
http://easylink.playstream.com/winlive/wyosales1.wvx (or
paste into your browser) to watch the WYO Quarter Horse Sale
on September 11, 2010. We will be streaming video and sound for
the walk through Friday night and the auction Saturday
afternoon. We will also try to stream the outside performance
preview if it does not rain. The streaming will start
approximately 30 minutes before the event. If you log in before
then you will not connect and will see nothing.
**Note: At
the May sale we had some viewing problems. They have been fixed**
Walk Through-- September 10, 2010
streaming starts 6:30pm; event starts at 7:00pm
Performance
Preview--September
11, 2010
streaming starts 8:30am; event starts at 9:00am (Assuming no
rain... This will be our first try - no guarantees!)
Auction--September
11, 2010 streaming
starts at 11:30am; event starts at 12:00pm
There will
be a 20 second lag between what you see and the live auction. All
phone bidding will still be done by phone and your contact will
give you the current bid due to the lag. Note: You must
pre-qualify to be able to phone bid. This must be done two days
before the auction. Please contact Carole for details. The
video is trying to offer you a sense of the action at the auction
and to see what the horses are going for. You will need Windows
Media player to watch and hear the auction. Most computers should
already have it. If you need it, see the links below for a free
download.
Technical Stuff
For Windows XP you
will need Windows Media Player 11 ( earlier versions may work). To
download go to this link
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx
For Windows 7 you should already have Windows Media Player 12
installed. For more information try this link
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/features/windows-media-player-12.aspx
For Windows Vista your media player came already installed. To
verify that go to this link
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-media-center/get-windows-vista.aspx
and click on "Do I have it?"
Special Note to Mac Users
Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows Media Player for the
Mac. At the May sale we had 397 people log in and only four were
using Macs. It is very difficult to support Macs and we will not
be supporting them for the sale.
