Jack (Sundown) continues to train, rope and ride horses at their Sundown Quarter Horse Ranch. Becky still teaches 4th grade in Red Lodge, MT and is approaching her 27th year. They have three children and four grandchildren. Skyler is 31 years old and a graduate of Rocky Mountain College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He works on a local ranch, and his wife Cadance teaches middle school English in Red Lodge, MT. They are the parents of their grandchildren Grey Thomas and Hawk Sunny! Lat is 28 years old and a graduate of Carroll College and the University of Montana with a graduate degree in Child Psychology. He has an insurance business and lives in Yakima, WA with his wife Erin. They are the parents of their grandchildren Kiera Jean and Brooke Mullins! Lene is 20 years old and a sophomore attending the University of Montana in Missoula majoring in Education and Health and Human Performance.
Todd Fike is the nephew of Bill and Rick. He rode bucking horses professionally from 1991-2004 and he currently is the owner of a construction company in La Vernia, TX in addition to the sale production. Lorie is a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army and has been on active duty for 17 years. She is a Certified Hand Therapist and is currently the Program Director for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Fort Sam Houston, TX. They have three daughters, Addie (14), Lillie (13) and Claira Mae (10).
We are a family oriented sale consisting of Bill and Carole Smith, Rick and Lynn Smith, Todd and Lorie Fike, and Jack and Becky Wipplinger. We welcomed Dr. H.B. "Woody" Bartlett as a member of the sale in 2003.
H.B. "Woody" Bartlett joined the sale in 2003. He has a cutting horse operation in Weatherford, Texas, a working cattle ranch in Chugwater, Wyoming, and a horse ranch in Pikes Road, Alabama. Woody offers home raised geldings, two year olds, yearlings and weanling colts and fillies each year in the WYO Quarter Horse Sales.

Bill Smith was a professional saddle bronc rider from 1961-1979 and then went on to produce the North Platte Nightly Rodeo between the years of 1980-1989. His wife Carole was an elementary school teacher from 1966 to 1972 and from 1974 until she retired. She also was a professional barrel racer in 1972 and 1973.
Reid O'Rourke is Carole's nephew and has been working at the ranch and riding the sale geldings for the past 16 years.
